Cooking is love made edible.

I am not a trained chef. But I am a practiced chef. If Malcolm Gladwell recommends 10,000 hours to expertise, I would guess I’ve averaged 10 hours a week for 12 years in the kitchen - that’s 62% of the way there. To me, food is three things:

  1. A way to deliver love and caring to another person

  2. A way to explore the world, your senses, and creativity from your own space

  3. A thing I do because it is active, and I cannot sit still

I am lucky to have many who follow my food via Instagram or ask to come over and eat it. But also others who ask for recipes or want to try it themselves, and I may develop other food-oriented projects over time. This is a place to come find those projects.
